Yes and thanks for the info, I already took the short block in to the
machine shop where they will rebuild it for 780$ which includes the gasket
set AND head gasket.
It won't be a turbovan like yours but will get me around, my mechanical
abilities are limited and I don't get busy disassembling pistons so your
essay didn't do me much good. The machinist told me it was just plain wore
out so that is good enough for me

No, I have not had multiple e-mails today but I did reset my preferences to
download the whole e-mails and received a mountain of stupid html's and
hahaha viruses that were accumulating fer weeks and weeks so I suppose BOB
MCCAIN has a thank you coming since I thought those got deleted long ago.
