What year is your Van and is it air or water cooled. So far it sounds like the hose that goes to your charcoal canister to recycle fuel vapors from into your air cleaner box, this statement relates to Air-cooled 80-83 engines. It would connect to your upper air cleaner box, forward right corner on the nipple that is there.
