hermann, that's great! yesterday we were up at davenport landing (a mile north of davenport, lovely little pocket beach, if a bit windy and foggy yesterday am), and when we came back to our syncro we noticed a metallic blue high-roof vanagon up ahead on the right. as we drove by (it was an adventurewagen, and had "caravelle" where i have "vanagon gl" on the back) three early 20s folk got out and waved and made the peace sign...we were in the middle of waving and my son was saying..."look at the funny popptopp".

definitely a market. cool looking van, too. didn't have the westfalia vent/utility arrangements, but we were on our way to have hot chocolate and didn't want to stop.
