I just pulled a piston out of a cylinder on my 2000CC Aircooled and found one of the ring groves broken, I became instantly nauseated & broke into a cold sweat. True! It more than likley is vision related. This may sound stupid but have someone hold a cardboard carton or anything with a broad flat surface over your face/head while you're lying on your back. Hold the carton about 15 inches from the floor and try looking up at it.

Hope you get to feeling better!
