L-jet has 5th injector for cold start, no idle stab. cct. It's for aircooled vanagons, and is what's been on buses since '75.

that site of Darrels is great, so's his digi-tool.

update, I just shunted the FI temp sensor with a 270 ohm resistor, starts fine hot. This fools ECU into think coolant is around 95C or normal. I'll see what cold starts are like. My dash gauge still reads stone cold (needle operates fine, from far left to mid white zone) This van sat for 2.5 years, I suspect a lot of electrical gremlins are waking up with it. Tx all. Tim

BTDT, fine for hi/low pres +/- vac line attached. I've had these go bad, even they can't produce the clouds of soot I was getting. I think I'm a step closer and gaining!
