I've done one of the Tiico conversions into a customer's Syncro, so here are
my comments:

Wiring in an oxygen sensor is not a big deal, I believe that now the oxs
wiring is part of the harness in the kits. It is necesssary to set up the
computer for IUS emissions.

You could use the 1.9 or the 2.1 muffler.
> 3) what the difference in a muffler and tailpipe?
AFAIK no difference other than outer shell diameter between the 1.9 and 2.1,
the tailpipe being the part attached to the right end of the muffler.

This is the bracket that the strap attaches to.

injectors modified slightly with an additional o-ring.
A really cheap-A** way of doing that, because you also have to mount the
pressure regulator seperately, and then every injector and the reg are
leak-prone. A MUCH better way is to use the entire injector rail from a
newer Golf/Jetta, this will have the injectors and regulator all mounted
together, much cleaner looking as well as less likely to cause leakage
issues later. I'm personally baffled as to WHY Tiico is not including this
with the kits. They should, for the price.
>8) timing and co? Can i do this or will i need a s shop's assistance
here?
You can get the download from http://www.ross-tech.com/ and adjust it using
your PC.

Turn key in most aspects, but still has some minor issues to be ironed out.
I highly recommend the kit, as a more complete way to convert to the inline
4, instead of dealing with all of the headaches inherent with a DIY
approach.
