Mark, The statistics I have are from David Marshall's site on Vanagon engine conversion. Its the ABA code. The wheel and crank output info is interesting. could you please explain to me what these mean, and the formulas? I am also e-mailing David to see if he has revised his original data. When I did the conversion, I changed the trans to a 81 air-cooled Vanagon trans for better ratios. 65 mph (102-105 kp/h) is about 3400 rpm. 80 is 4,000 rpm.(all in fourth , of course. ) Robert 1982 Westfalia 2.0 Golf lll Seattle
