Subject: 85 accelerator cable
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Well my accelerator cable broke today, luckily it was on the same street as my destination. Unfortunately I left all my tools with my 74 bus in KS as I am going to go get it in a week and figured I would need them for the trip back to MO. So I need to know what tools I need to round up to replace the cable. And if there are any tricks to getting it out. The cable didn't really break, the wire came out of the end cap in the engine compartment. I have done this on my 74 and it was a 10 minute job, so I figure this shouldn't be too difficult, but do I have to remove the spare tire to get to the bottom side of the pedal? Any and all suggestions appreciated (other then get a subaru engine instead of an accelerator cable :)

Thanks, Nathan 85 Westy 74 Bus _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
