I have sold a few cars on ebay....all vw's and all not running.

I make the buyer give half up front within 3 days of close via paypal transfer, and the other half cash when it is picked up. It must me picked up in 30 days, or their 50% deposit is forfeited(within reason, of course.......) . I have never had a problem with this, and always provide the buyer plenty of pics of the item so they know exactly what they are getting.

I have sold cars on ebay to happy buyers that 95% of vw owners would take to the crusher :)))
