Uhhh...cure for the "clap" is penicillin.

Cure for leaks under hose clamps is generally replacement of hose IF it's a spring clamp, as opposed to a screw clamp which **may** have some tighter adjustment possible...

Having struggled with the removal/replacement of one of the extremely short hoses supplying coolant to the oil cooler, I have a definite preference for the screw clamp...
