I have directed two subaruvanagon listees to Link Electrosystem's engine management computers. This renders all the Subaru electronics (apart from the ignitor) irrelevant. The complete system is about $357US plus shipping. For about $100US you can get a dash-mounted remote unit with LCD readout; with this you can alter your settings on the move. Contact the South Island distributor:

Neville Stowell <engine-performance@xtra.co.nz>

Neville is a Subaru expert and will be (eventually) doing my SVX conversion.
