You should drop the spare tire and then start in the middle of the van. Cut the old cable in the middle and tape the new cable end to the cut end. Now go the rear of the van and pull the old cable, and then go to the front of the van and pull the old cable. Adjust the new cable and you are done. I hope this helps.
