In both my dealings PM this list and the whitewater lists I am on, if I sell something, I collect the check(whatever kind), ship the goods, and sit on the check until I hear from the buyer that he/she is happy and that it all arrived in as advertised condition. I haven't sold much through this list, but I have horse-traded(akin to JordanVW) canoes and kayaks and gear for years and had 3 checks bounce. The whitewater community locally is the last nest you want to defecate in. If you screw someone, they may just be the one holding that rescue rope they'll have to think twice about throwing you if you are swimming a nasty rapid or two. Bad juju is bad juju, and God's not impressed either.

My dos centavos,
