Yoshi, you lurker!

I don't know about factory VW motors. However Electric-Life in Chicago sells their Italian-made conversion kit, which use Bosch motors. I have bought a kit for my 84 Caravelle, but as the van is stored in another city I haven't had the opportunity to fit it.

I have heard that these are a bit slower than the VW units but much more reliable. Contact Vito Rubino of Electric-Life at: <VRBOUNO@aol.com> Prices in December 1999: VK-12k Left & right electric regulators $175US 4990-10-227 3 VW-style switches, a 2-switch bezel and complete wiring harness $65US

These folk also have remote window closers, remote starter/alarm and remote central locking systems, which I have also bought and am waiting to fit...

Regards
