Hi Mark,

The recycler doesn't lose much even at "half price". A body damaged syncro westie can be had for 2500 IF you are part of the inner circle. The motor's worth 1500, the running gear 3500, the westie kit (top, interior, gas tank, tubing...900, the doors, glass, tiddly bits and so on another 1000 (front seats, dash, bumpers, steering rack...) So 6900 is what the critter will bring piece by piece down to a shell. The removal technicians usually don't make more than 10/hr and they can do a whole car in six hours.

Just like the casinos, they don't lose much even at half off.
