You didn't say what routes you are considering, but after years of my own stupidity :) you could not pay me enough to drive through Wyoming on I-80 in the winter. Nebraska? No way, no how. You might catch a break in the weather, but since no one can predict the weather .........

As the famous man once said, Stay south young man, stay south (or something like that <g>)
