At 11:01 AM -0400 6/5/01, Chuck Mathis rearranged electrons to say:

Mom used to have one and sold it just last year. Let me guess: it started to rust behind the rear wheel wells and on the rocker panels and spread from there? Blue with darker blue interior? No power steering? A/C not from factory, installed at dealer? Peppy from the PGM-FI engine? (ours was a manual).

Ended up starting to fall apart, but boy, could it swallow a ton of stuff! :) It's where I learned to appreciate hatchbacks and, in the end, choose a Golf over a boring sedan.

(I tried to send this directly to you via AOL, Chuck, but it bounced.) --
