I have been working on VW's since age 16..Have been a Mechanic..(ASE
Master cert, etc)...all my life
Ran a VW & Foreign car repair shop for 15 Yrs...(If I haven't seen it all
by  now, I don't wanna see it)
decided for peace of mind and stress relief to work for and BY myself  at
home shop- the retail world was driving me batty.
Best thing I ever did???(besides meet my wife)  work for myself. I get up
when I want..work when I want..sleep often..
Hobbies...Snowmobiles..Avid Skiier...love Heli Skiing (can't afford it
much) settle for Cat Skiing
Paragliding on those rare sunny thermal days..Crew chief for Sprint
car..Tinkering in general..and of course ,reading & watching way too much
TV...
Pet List Peeve...waste of List bandwidth for silly replies...am now in
Digest mode only...much better
Pet Real-world Peeve...People who don't take time to smell the roses and
be with their families..Get your priorities in order before its too late
