Andrew,

Just a little history lesson.

A bridge too far had nothing to do with the battle of the buldge !!

A bidge to far was a failed attempt by the British airborne troops and the US, and Canadian ground forces to capture and hold the bridges at Einthoven, and Arnheim, Holland, in a move to invade Deutschland In Sept of 44.

This was all thought up my ole "Monty", and OKed by Ike.

Should have had old "Blood and Guts", George Patton run this show-----would have gotten the job done.
