I don't know what part of the country you're from, but out here where I live in AZ, they kind of assume 4x4 for off roading, so if it says impassable when wet, I wouldn't count on getting a 4x4 through too easily. A lot of roads around here are ALWAYS impassable for many two wheel drive vehicles.
