Volks!

School's out for summer and we are off for three months in our blue 87 Westy. First, to North Carolina to hike a section of the Appalachian Trail. Then on to Ocracoake Island in the Outer Banks. Finally, a round trip from Kansas City, thru Colorado(Cortez), Utah(Escalante), Idaho(Salmon River), maybe California(Yosemite), Oregon, Washington(Rainforest), and back.

If you see us on the road, Missouri license plate, Thule weekender on top, Fiamma bike carrier, Mehler side tent in the luggage rack, little kids in the backseat, big dent on the driver's side,Sticker"You can always tell a German, but you can't tell him much", wave at us, and if we are parked on the shoulder with the hatch open, please stop and help us.

Cheers, Hermann de Boer Kansas City, MO _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
