Subject: Alien Census

Born in quebec city, many years ago , two sons, 29 and 27, girl friend of 20 years, retired three years ago from teaching high school physics, 30 years , and now getting mentally retired (especially reading all or most of the vanagon.com letters) ...

first drove in a beetle in winter 54 in a snow storm... later, i had english cars ( my first car, a morris 52 convertible, austin healy 59 bug eye, a few mgs), one volvo, about 12 or 13 VWs most models, 2 1959 porsches 356, one 924, one internationnal pick up, a few american cars in between...whatever...one only 1970 "new" vw window van in which I manage to copy a westfalia interior. We now have a n. beetle.

since snow left us a month ago, restarted to kayak and bicycle almost everyday, with my dog and also looking to buy a cheap west diesel, dreaming to have put in a tdi engine, and driving down to yucatan next fall for a spanish intergration.

for a few old pictures, go to www.geocities.com/lachancepa/

worked on that thing more than a year ago, I should go back myself and change a few things...
