Name: David Kitzmann (but everyone calls me Dave, unless I don't like you!)

Current living location: Virginia Beach, VA and I've been here too long, it rains too much.

Occupation: Walk around, talk to locals, break rocks, write notes, crush rocks, powder rocks, run chemical tests, thinking about the Picture. If you haven't fiqured out I'm a geologist. Currently working on my Masters. Make money teaching undergrauduate lab classes at local university.

Current Research: Over 1.1 billion year old igneous and metamorphic rocks in the northern Virginia Blue Ridge mountains. These rocks have no fossils and are kind of a pain to work with, so not many people have looked at them, but they have and interesting story to tell.

Previous Occupation: Other than trying mechanical engineering for a while and finding cubicles a living hell that should be outlawed, I've done various jobs, waiter, supply manager, painter, etc. etc.......

Marital Status: Married now for almost six years, God bless her for putting up with me!

Children: none as of yet

Hobbies: Surfing, hiking, cars, kayaking, messing with electronics, building stuff, aircraft

Vehicles: Currently drive a 82 Vanagon Diesel L that I converted to a 1.8L Cis-e injected Golf GT engine. Which I desperatedly want to get painted and put a new interior in. I also own a 87 Syncro that got into an accident and should be totaled but the insurance company in there infinite wisdom says it is mechanical in nature and isn't covered. They are currently being sued.

I have owned various VW Rabbit diesels and one Nissan Sentra ( I repent, it was a stupid thing to do, I know!!!) I want, among other things, a Double Cab, an MGA mark 1or Austin Healey 1000 or just about any British roadster, Porche speedster, a Land Rover Defender 110 (ugly, but what a great field vehicle!)

Hope for the future: That my wife and I can finish our education and work on things that are fullfilling to our lives. We also want to someday move to the country and run a horse farm and help preserve some of the dwindling open space in this country.

Hope for the future that propably won't happen: That suburban sprawl will stop spreading like cancer across the land.
