Dave,

The square headlights are rare in Europe. Vanagons are the Chevies and Fords
of that continent. They usually got very utilitarian interiors and no power

Case in point? My 1989 16" Syncro Double Cab has the cheap vinyl upholstery
similar to the early US vans. The material is slightly better. No armrests.
No padding on the dash. I have the round headlights with the city lights
instead of front parking lights. The damned things are so basic that there
isn't even any wiring for radio. There's no hole for an antenna. And there
are no speakers in the door panels.

Oh yeah, no carpets -- just rubber mats. I love it.
