The only problem that I have run into, is that one man's idea of perfect, or ( I love this word ) "Mint" isn't the same as you may have on your mind.

When I recently purchased Clementine, and drove 8 hours to purchase her, I was led to believe that it was a perfectly mint example of an 74 Type 2, Westfalia.

Well, when I got there it was a different story. Yes she was nice, but-------no tail lights, turn signals,or brake lights working, crack in the windshield, that he "just forgot to tell me about", one headrest missing, batteries both shot, sink faucet spout missing, yada, yada, yada.

This gave me a little more buying power, but I most certainly was aggravating, to think I had to work on it, just to get it home.

Ask allot of questions, and write down exactly what is being discussed, so you don't over look or forget what specifically you were questioning the seller about, come time for you to go get it.

Look it over good--- The thrill of buying a new vehicle, can sometimes blind you in the excitement.

Good Luck in the Hunt !
