You need to go back to her get her full name (write it down in front of her), her bosses name and then ask for the phone number and address of SEARS CORPORATE headquarters. I bet that will turn some heads and you will get a check almost immediately.

I did this once with a billing problem from a ford dealership on a warranty repair. After I secured the full names of everyone and was waiting for my truck to be brought out from the back the service manger came out and appologized and asked me if we could still resolve this without involving Ford corporate. Magically my bill came out to $0.00
