Anyone out there put an aftermarket oil cooler on a type 4 motor?  The
vechicle in question is a 81 Vanagon, Cailifornia edition.  Bus Boys
recommeds using a remote filter mount then into the thermostat and then
cooler.


I'm wondering on how the hoses would be run from the adaptor that
replaces the filter.  It seems that they would be run awfully close to
the exhaust or exposed under the vechicle for a little while - neither
gives me a good feeling.  With the catylitic convertor on the CA model
right next to the filter, there's seems to be little precious room.
