I've been lurking and reading but here goes.

Sharon Simpson Annandale Virginia (near Washington DC) 39 years old

Married to Gary since 97. He's the one who got me into VW's. Didn't even own one till I met him.

Kids: Gary Jr 21, Spencer 17, Derek 13, and our surprise child Kalle age 2

Occupation: Both Gary and I are systems technicians for Verizon Telephone company. We install and maintain high speed data services.

Hobbies: I like to remodel our house and do basic handywoman work and Gary likes to work on the VWs. We also enjoy the beach, Jimmy Buffett and making our own beer.

Favorite Places: Outer Banks of NC and St Martin

Cars: 90 Ford Ranger 81 Rabbit diesel- Willie 70 Bus- Gunthor 66 bug- Toby 66 bug- Toby II 71 ghia convertible- Fritz 67 bug convertible- Gert the Vert 82 diesel westy- Elliott Nest (My husbands nickname is big bird)
