>>Does anybody have any input on a K&N filter? Yes, a K&N will add approximately 45 horsepower to your wasserboxer. Your top speed should become about 130mph, so get speed rated tires. Your will get about 35mpg. It's money well spent, because everyone knows that this filter is performs like a supercharger. Also, I recommend a superturbomondolargo muffler preferably with an exhaust tip about 8 inches wide. Quad four sparkplugs are also a must. Blue headlights (not the real HID's, but those $4.95 halogen bulbs with a dab of blue paint) and some neon lights in and under your van will also enhance your performance. Finally, for true horsepower gains put a "TYPE R" and "VTEC" sticker on the van. I've tried these modifications on my vanagon, toyotas, lawnmower, and generator. Significant improvements in power and gas mileage with all. No real experience with hopping up kitchen appliances, but a K&N would look good on my blender...
