Since I've gotten the 90 GL back on the road, I have noticed the Gas filler neck belching gas back at me if I use anything but the most trickling of pump volumes. The hand begins to cramp at about the 10 gallon mark, so anyone have a clue as to why this tank won't fill proerly? I did recently replace the upper Y pipes and crosovers and hoses and that removed the gas smell from the fill ups, I took a long plastic welding rod and poked down the tube to see if the white plastic ball in the bottom of the filler neck was stuck, but that didn't seem to help. Is the vent holeabove the lfiller hole subject to blockage and if so, is there a method to un plug it? I have ordered new expansion tank valve assemblies($12 a side and the gasket is another $6 each) to see if that's causing the problem. I'm a little bit stumped. Dimwitted Moose and flying squirrel |
