It is nice to see find others that enjoy the non-westie lifestyle. this is my first response so pardons if i am doing it wrong (and correct me). I should probably do that census thing too. i too have an asi/riviera, a 1982 vanagon. the guy down the street has a 79 riviera. supposedly the riviera weighs considerably less than a westie but perhaps that is just rumor. Susan-are you accepting pictures of other rivieras? Philip-make sure the top you bought has good nylon wheels on the ends of each support arm. if they are cracked or broken, start thinking about replacing them. they are hard to find in junkyards but you can get nylon wheels and pins from body shops. a similar nylon wheel is used in door window tracks. There are several companies the make replacement canvas tops that can accessed through the www. There are also some heat ducts under the rear seat that you will want to plug up to get more heat to the front. Adam-how much are you asking for your riviera? does it run well on biodiesel? David 70 mural bus 82 riviera 63 ghia 70 parts bus--anyone need free stuff? Die Gedanken Sind Frei |
