> Hi Volks, >I am presently away from my home in SC, working in Brisbane, Queensland. >I have seen lots of bay vans and a few of what I call Vanagons. >Most have the name Transporter on the back but I have seen 1 with rectangular >headlights that had the name Caravelle. >What delineates the change of name? Transporter: blanket name for ALL Type 2s. In Oz market, I guess these are the Kombi and bare-bones van versions Caravelle: those T3 Type 2s sold as upmarket peoplemovers (Caravelle GL=Vanagon GL etc)
