Here's an odd one for the VW karma department: Drove my nice new H*nda civic into work today, parked it, and when I came out for lunch, it had been hit and the whole driver's door was seriously caved in. Hit and run, grrr... But a coupla witnesses saw a culprit--a white loaf-style bus! The witnesses got a plate number (which the police say matches the vehicle description in the registration database), so hopefully I won't be hosed too badly. I usually surprise busted bus folks by peeling off to the side of the road in my H*onda... but, next I see a broken-down bus on the side of the road, should I check the plate number first, *then* decide if I'm going to stop? I'm undergoing a serious karma crisis here! ;-) T. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tobin Copley Bowen Island, BC, Canada 49deg 23'N-123deg 19'W '82 Westfalia 1.6L NA diesel ("Stinky") '97 son Russell ============= '99 daughter Margaret /_| |_L| |__|:| clatter SPEED KILLS! {. .| clatter!
