Subject: Mounting Devices for Extinguishers?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Volks, As stated earlier, my current extinguisher is mounted on end wall of back cabinet, above right side seat/bed. But, after reading suggestions for additional mounting sites, I'm planning to mount *two* more fire extinguishers-- on both front pedestals of driver's/passenger seat. (I use *all available space behind driver's seat for gear when traveling, & pillar inside sliding door doesn't work for me.)

Has anyone *successfully* improvised holding brackets (perhaps of velcro straps) that improves on plastic straps provided with extinguishers? Something secure, but quickly released in emergency.
