residence: bi-coastal migration between Victoria, BC and Sheshatshiu, Labrador, but Labrador is home.

Marital Status: as good as married

Children: daughter Manish Sierra, 14 months old, another on the way...

Work: environmental advisor to Innu Nation since 1994, currently on sabbatical, attending law school at the University of Victoria. Prior degrees in environmental science, former life as paramedic in Hamilton, Ontario.

Hobbies: canoe tripping, wilderness travel, dog sledding, mountaineering, photography and Macintosh computers

VW's: Owner of "Blu", a 1987 Westfalia. 180K km, new heads and rebuild tranny at 160K.

Favourite places: anywhere wild, preferably at least 100 km from nearest road.
