Subject: Need help setting timing and idle on digifant
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hello again,

In my last post, I forgot to mention that my van is a '91 Westy. It was also just tuned up (not by me, but by a vw mechanic). Speaking of which, I wanted to recheck the timing and idle adjustment-has anyone on the list developed an "idiot's guide" to tuning up the digifant? I have Muir's book and used his procedure to tune up my '82 2.0L air-cooled. Then I got this waterboxxer and a VW pro training manual, but the procedure outlined in it leaves me scratching my head. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again,

Philip

'91 Westy
