Suzanne Hackett

Age: 40 (Dear God, how did this happen?)

Born: Burbank, CA Moved to Bellingham, WA for college, then Missoula, MT for grad school. Lived and worked in Helena, MT; Miles City, MT; Napa, CA; Las Vegas, NV and now back in LA. (How did that happen?)

Married: Yes (second time around) for two years, to the love of my ife, Charles

Children: Son, Isaac, 12--an actor Son-in-the-oven, as yet to be named (I know how this happened) Hollywood stray dog, Cybil Shepard, 5 years old--forever

Work: Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Cal State University, Northridge--i.e. I raise money. Been working in the museum field in similar capacity for past 15 years, mostly in science centers.

I also have a consulting business where I do this kind of work for non-profit arts and education oranizations, http://www.fundraiserx.com

Hobby: Artist (painting and printmaking), have a self-published xine called "Your Attention, Please" http://home.earthlink.net/~yetilvft and run a non-profit sculpture park near the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada, called the Goldwell Open Air Museum http://www.fundraiserx.com/goldwell.html

VW's: Current owner of "Geordi" (as in La Forge), a 1990 Vanagaon Carat, with the Weekender Package. Have 190,000+ miles on original engine, but have rebuilt most of the other major systems. I have a GREAT mechanic most of the time.

Had a 1973 bus whose engine threw a rod on its first road trip (I didn't appreciate what that little green light meant at the time) and stranded me with a bunch of hillbillies in Weiser, Idaho for four days (like 16 years ago).

Had a 1971 Bug before that that first my sister crashed, then I did. Duh. Us So. Cal gals didn't know much about driving on ice at the time. Eight years in Motana fixed that.

Favorite town: Rhyolite, Nevada, of course. Check it out at http://www.rhyolitesite.com and join us next April for the three day Rhyolite Jamboree!

Wow...anything else?
