Actually, you misread the website. Part number 025 906 301 isn't on my website at all. When you searched this part number, it found a partial match and displayed 025 906 301C, which is an '86-91 air flow meter (and will not interchange with the one for an '83-85).

I list two '83-85 air flow meters on my website, both rebuilt. One is rebuilt by Bosch, part number 0 280 200 038, for $276 after listmember discount; the other is rebuilt in the U.S., for $143, part number 410038. The latter has an additional $30 core deposit, refunded upon return of your original unit. Needless to say, virtually everybody buys the latter, due to the huge difference in price.
