Sorry I'm so late, having a little trouble keeping up with the mail.

Larry Alofs
born 2-3-47
high school physics and chemistry teacher in Chicago

family:
  wife (since 1969) - Montessori pre-school director/teacher
  two daughters - one 3rd college completed, another just graduated from
h.s.

Grew up on a farm in western Mich. where my family also sold farm
machinery and cars and trucks.  We now live in the Chicago neighborhood
called Hyde Park, a diverse and interesting area near the Univ of
Chicago.

Hobbies/interests:
  developing new physics and chemistry demonstrations
  fixing things (often VWs)
  electronics
  locks
  a little vegetable gardening
  camping, AANR

Discovered this list only about 6 months ago, have learned a lot.
