Please forgive me if this is off topic.  My daughter, Alex, who is eight
years old, will be entering Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis
tomorrow for surgery.  She is having a choledochal-jejunostomy roux-en-y, in
which the bile duct is removed and replaced with a section of the small
bowel.  This is to correct a problem with her bile duct which predisposes her
to inflammation of the liver and carries a greatly increased risk of cancer
as the years pass.  We would appreciate your prayers for Alex, Dr. Davidoff,
the surgeon, and for a speedy recovery. Thanks
