Subject: Re: Fw: Spillage when filling the gas
Content-Type: text/plain

Spill out of the filler pipe (2WD) --> replace the filler pipe with the lastest version. It got a small ball valve at its bottom to prevent just that spill (if you look into the parts micro fiche / CD you - or your VW parts guy will find 3 - take the 1 on top). Runs about 100 bucks, easy to replace, feel free to ask for details. Other spills --> check / replace grommets on top of tank, i.e. drop tank = more pain. Michael, Germany w/gas at 4 US$ 80 Westy 86 GL (had both of the above spill types) 86 Quantum 93 318t for 1 week now - did you know how bad bmw is compared w/VW?
