Come spend a weekend with us in Pennsylvania's coal region. There's
plenty to see and do! We will be camping at Indian Head Campground
in Bloomsburg. The campground is located along the Susquehanna
River and offers boating, fishing, and hiking trails. The main event of the
weekend will be a caravan to nearby Knoebels Grove Amusement
Resort. Knoebels is the largest free-admission and free-parking
amusement park in Pennsylvania. The park offers over 45 rides,
including the "Phoenix" and the "Twister," two of America's largest
wooden roller coasters. Knoebels also has an olympic-size public
swimming pool and an Anthracite Museum, which houses a large
collection of mining tools and other memorabilia of the days when coal
was king.

What Happened to Busses by the Trail?
After several complaints about Blue Rocks Campground including the nightly rate and
other issues, Karl Bloss was considering a move of Busses by the Trail to another
locale. Karl, Ben, and Lynn started talking about combining the events while attending
Westies in the Woods over Memorial Day 2001. We're certain that those who attended
Busses by the Trail in the last 3 years will enjoy Kampers near Knoebels.
While mid-October is a wonderful time for foliage in Pennsylvania, Knoebels is closed
by that time. As a result, the event has been moved up to the beginning of September. If
anyone is interested in an impromptu event during the PA foliage season in mid-
October, e-mail Karl: bloss@enter.net
Questions?
If you have any questions feel free to contact Ben and Lynn Stiles at bastiles@att.net or
717-687-7558.
