Thanks to all who responded on the moving the front rotating seats from a westy to a weekender. I'm not sure where I got the idea that this was just a unbolt and bolt in swap, but I am disapointed that it's not :(. Anyway, I am thinking I will go ahead and do the passenger side conversion. It looks like there are 6 welds on each side that hold the base to the "original" seat tracks in the van. Are there other welds underneath that I will have to deal with? Anybody tried a Dremel with cut-off wheels on these? I can see going through a lot of wheels, but it might be worth it. Edward |
