Isn't the main idea of the shoulder belt to keep the front seat occupants from impacting the steering wheel, dash, windshield etc. You would have to be awfully tall to hit any thing from the back seat of a westy. Also the shoulder belt only halts direct forward motion does noting for side to side motion. If you are that concerned you could always install a five point competition harness. |
