Hi, I've spent the last couple hours attempting to bolt on a rocker. I thought I had it, but one of the valves was kinda jammed. Finally realized that the pushrod wasn't seated properly in the lifter. So I pulled the rocker and seated the pushrod; went to tighten the rocker, and "clink" another rod came loose. After about ten attempts, I've given up for tonight. I feel like a one-armed paper hanger. How the (#*$%#@ to I hold the rods in place while tightening the rocker? I've considered a big wad of grease on the end of the rods to stick it in place, but wasn't sure about the long-term effects. Karl Wolz |
