Historical VW perspective
VW put huge effort into having the best service and parts back in the old
days. They wanted you to keep your vw forever, and keep stopping in for
service and parts, and thus the continuing revenue stream.
Somewhere along the line their view changed..............Can't remember the
names, but early to mid seventies there became a new vw president and it has
slowly been rolling downhill.........the company's attitude that is.
