R134a requires "barrier hoses" and R12 didn't--or they didn't exist then.

Seems like a conversion is doomed to leak R134a without a hose change.

Anyone changed hoses in a conversion? Where did the hoses come from? I am starting to think of a conversion for my '87. Also for my '88 Carrera; I know who makes hoses for that!
