John; I had an air blockage in the tube near the bleader valve in the engine compartment. This is likely because it is a high spot. The only way I could get it out was to loosen the clamp and work a flat head screw driver under the lip of the hose. Do it at the highest spot i.e.12 o'clock so you get all the air. I do not know why the bleeder valve could not ccomplish the same.
