Not so! I drove my 57 really hard, to the limits of its tires, and the
roads here in Enzed are very winding and often narrow. I never had a
fright, though I'm sure the van's cornering attitude looked frightening to
bystanders. But then, it was wearing radials. When it had crossplies (as it
did when I bought it) it WAS frightening. Needless to say the crosspiles
didn't stay on it for long.

My 66, with its standard swaybar, was very restrained in its cornering behavior.
