PS: I wonder if you replaced the copper washer each time you drained oil and replaced the bolt? No amount of tightening will eliminate leaks with a deformed washer. I try to remember to order washers when I buy filters. What about old copper washers? Save one as a sample to show the parts guy.. errr person. Put the others in your scrap bin as a hedge against a worldwide copper shortage. Lastly, consider a torque wrench when tightening the bolt. Put your oldest lasagna pan under 'ol KarmaValdiz George in GR, '87 Van O'White. Rain just beads off my driveway.
